Hello Progfans! I'm Heiko, 18 years old and from the Netherlands. I've been listening to prog music for about 1,5 till 2 years now, but Pink Floyd has been my favourite band for years. Nowadays my favourite prog bands are: Pink Floyd, Marillion, Porcupine Tree, Camel, Rush, Radiohead, Genesis, Triana, Pineapple Thief, King Crimson, Le Orme & Pendragon. Outside prog my favourite bands are: Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Beatles, Rory Gallagher, Gary Moore, Rainbow, Coldplay, Neil Young, Doors & Bob Dylan.

I visited progarchives.com before to check out reviews and download promotional mp3's. It's good way to get to know new bands and stuff. And now I also registered on the forum, in the hope to find more interesting prog things ;)

Greets, Heiko

Hi Heiko,

I am much older than 18, but I have recently discovered Le Orme as well and think they are fabulous.

Welcome again.

There is a lesson to be learnt here - Don't play football in the Cricket season.

BTW, Heiko, cricket is worth checking out, a very progressive sport

cricket this summer is a fad, much like rugby when england won the world cup.  I'm not normally a fan of cricket, but I've been watching the Ashes and it's been great!  I couldn't muster the same enthusiasm for england v bangladesh though!

fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun!
