This album is chronologically placed between my two favourite GG albums. About half of the album doesn't do much for me while some other songs are among my favourites (Aspirations, Playing the Game).

I kinda look at their whole catalogue as their "best" ... I find it really tough that one thing is better than another, because the musicianship involved is insane, regardless of which album you look at. Maybe towards the end they sound a bit more "radio friendly", but even thn, I think that it was strong and worth the listen, albeit we will always think that the first 4 albums were God-given kudos.
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

It's the only GG album that really clicks for me. All other GG albums have great tracks but this is just great all the way through.

It's probably my 3rd or 4th favourite GG album. Acquiring The Taste is my fave and always has been.
