Both very youthful energetic bands. Chapterhouse was often associated with the space rock of Spacemen 3, but, although Spacemen 3 played a huge role in spawning shoegaze, Chapterhouse clearly is more like their contemporaries in the shoegaze scene.

Weezer was famous for capturing the mundane, the stupid, the embarrassing— all of which endeared or alienated a lot of people.
