Each album has at least a single track over a half an hour long which mixes rock, jazz, and jam improvisation together with a trumpet player. Which is more impressive?

Miles trumps Math any day, any time.
The world of sound is certainly capable of infinite variety and, were our sense developed, of infinite extensions. -- George Santayana, "The Sense of Beauty"

Despite my love for Mr. Davis (my son is named Miles for a reason) I have to pick my neighbors from across the river, Perhaps.

I have seen them play Volume One live, and it is a thing to behold...

Also, I don't know if Perhaps belongs in math rock really...also elements of psych, kraut, jazz, and some modern classical serialism...

Shouldn't they belong in eclectic prog then?

The Perhaps debut is very good.

Volume One is my favorite instrumental rock album ever, so I definitely give it to them.

Miles Davis, Jack Johnson.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.
