Topic: RIP Ben E King ( and also earlyer Percy Sledge) Posted: May 01 2015 at 11:36 |
it is easy to forget grand legend of soul on a prog forum, as prog is far removed from soul, bit these two gents were really huge figures in music, brilliant singers, voices of the 60s and 70s,
this song is nothing short of a landmark song of a generasjon, fabolous arrangement and amazing voice, no-one sang greater then th the 60s-70s soul singers at their best.
