I've heard the two songs they've released, love how one of them is softer and reminds me of a soft Opeth song and the other one being more harder rocking!
Can't wait for the album.

I was just going to suggest the same thing. I bought the CD and it's one of the best things I've heard this year.

^ Thanks. Great album. Each song of this album is interesting and different. In first meet it seem like a post metal album in my ears but after 3-4 song I faced with different music and last 4 songs its completely changed. Change Composing, Arrangement, Instrument combination and etc .
I guess O.R.K. would be a challange and discussion between fans and even teams members (IMO). And an easy way is you label that Xover Prog.

"the band itself defines "acoustic psychedelia and precise math rock, with an added seasoning or intense ambient electronica."
O.R.k. are: vocals/keys: Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari (Berserk!, Obake) guitar: Carmelo Pipitone (Marta sui Tubi) bass: Colin Edwin (Porcupine Tree) drums/percussion: Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson, Stick Men) |

They're being discussed in eclectic at the moment, this thread was overlooked until quite recently.

Last night I listened to their last album "Soul of an Octopus (2017)". The great album IMO full of great moments. I enjoyed from start to end of this album. Smart Arrangement , Creative Song Writing , Using different styles very cleverly and ...
O.R.K is an exact! Progressive Rock band but I'm sure about that but about their sub- genre , I'm not sure. Eclectic or Xover or Psychedelic and perhaps Rio. If you ask me about their genre, my answer is: Eclectic is fit to them IMHO. |

Been listening to some ORk (on the tube anyway) and did not see them listed in PA. Whatever became of them being included based on this old thread?

^ Still with the eclectic team for now, although the current discussion would suggest that we plan to move them. We're just not quite sure where yet; either heavy prog or crossover.
