Hey guys!

I'm a bit lost when it comes to the genre of my own band, as funny as it sounds! For us the music makes perfect sense, but we have gotten a different opinion from every new listener to what it sounds like, so it could make things a bit easier if we could point out our sound to some specific title. The music has definitely got its backbone in rock music but there are definitely references from a variety of different styles, also progressive music. What do you guys think?

Here's a short bio of the band and our latest album which we released just a few weeks ago!

Mojo Waves release their new album "All the Right Parts Fit The Wrong Way"

Finland is known for all its extremes – from a steaming hot sauna to the freezing cold winter. This also goes for the music, as Finnish have a taste for the extreme in culture too – making it one of the heavy metal capitols of the world. But now it’s time for something extreme in the field of rock music: Mojo Waves.

Mojo Waves is a three piece rock band hailing from Vantaa, Finland. Their distinctive sound can be tracked down to the day. It’s made out of pure love for the classic rock era, but forged in the fire of the music scene of the modern day Finland. It’s adrenaline filled, thundering, groovy and loud. There isn’t any other band with a similar sound, and now we’re offering you a chance to hear their latest release, the second full length album called “All The Right Parts Fit The Wrong Way.”

"reviving rock music one gig at a time"  LOL

Hell yeah!  That's all the description I need.  Love the energy.

I assume you guys have heard Kingston Wall from Helsinki?  Are they still held in high regard there?  If you haven't heard them check em out too.  Best of luck guys.

Hmmm, classic hard rock would be my main genre placement, with undertones of punk.

Thanks so much for help and the great response, it's glad to hear people dig the songs!Cool Yeah, we are familiar with Kingston Wall. We think they are probably the greatest band ever to come out from Finland although they never made significant impact abroad. They have a well-established cult status in the rock scene here for sure, and now they are doing tribute concerts to their late singer, even at festivals here which is really cool!
