Hi everyone,

I used to write reviews and post here occasionally 5 or so years ago when I was a young and getting into bands like Opeth, Porcupine Tree etc. for the first time. For a while Prog was all I listened to but it's something that I drifted away from (and from this site).

Recently I purchased a record player and picked up some vinyl from various second hand shops including a few jems I recognized from my time on this site. Listening to these records today I decided I might want to check if this site is still up and running... Lo and behold it is, so I have decided to reregister on a whim. I highly doubt I will do much/any rating or reviewing but I might pop in to discuss some music on the forum from time to time. Big smile

Good to meet you GKR!

When I was at the local thrift store someone had just unloaded several boxes of records that they were selling for $1 a piece or $20 a box... One box had nearly the complete discographies of Renaissance and The Moody Blues so I decided to get the whole box, and man am I enjoying it! I also got Tubular bells from a "free bin" in front of a local used books and media place... and they were all even in good condition! I feel like I got a pretty good deal!

Hello to all,

Now that you mention it, I just picked up "Stand up" on sale and I want to let you know, if you don't that I recently found one great 'bonus track' called "Why", by Uriah Heep on Demon's & Wizards, its worth a listen.
Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward.
