It always bothers me this Satwa page: http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=2287

Satwa was a album of Lula Cortes with Lailson de Holanda - and not a musical group. So, I'll propose this major change, which can only be made if you guys agree with the following:

- change the page to from Satwa to Lula Côrtez;
- add all the discography of Lula Côrtez, which include one of the best albums from the Psychdelic Folk Brazilan northeastern scene: Paêbiru. This album, although fit better in Psychdelic/Space Rock could be included in Prog Folk, because all the trippy stuff are made inside the traditional folk genre. As the album Satwa itself AND the rest of Lula Cortes' career (specially his first true solo album, of 1980).

So, here are the links:
- 1975, Paebiru (with Zé Ramalho): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUyvtwSV6A8
- 1980, Rosa de Sangue (proggy folky): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT9wVfDypaA
- 1981, O gosto novo da vida (same as above): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8c8k6D9AG4
- 1997, Má Companhia (popish strange one): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zGyki3Py7g

I'am trying to find sites to give his full discography all right, but for now I'll stick with this ones. The reason: I believe that this albums (except for the one of 1997) all fits in a psychdelic folk genre, and so forth, more closely to Prog Folk than Indo Raga Rock.

As I'am writting this I'am already full of doubts if all this made sense, but I do believe that something have to be made with that page, because it never existed a band called "Satwa" and yes an album, plus, its a way of putting Paebiru in PA, and I believe it deserves.

So, people... what you guys think?

Good call, GKR!

But I think this thread could go to:

Report Errors & Omissions.

It's beyond E&O Team responsibility to change bands'/artists' names and genres.

By the way, discogs has 2 separate entries for Satwa (http://www.discogs.com/artist/418649-Satwa) and Lula Côrtes (http://www.discogs.com/artist/632982-Lula-C%C3%B4rtes).

I see two ways:
1. Add Lula Côrtes as a separate artist. It's for "Suggest new bands" section of the forum.
2. Change Satwa to Lula Côrtes and change the genre. In this case it's necessary to contact respective genre teams.

Yeah, Discogs really did that, but still, it was not excltly a group. More like a shared album, like Page & Plant or Coverdale-Page (why do I have only Jimmy Page in mind now?).

So the second option, if agree with the rest, I believed its the more apropriated.

^ I recommend the first option, it's easier and faster. Using your Page-Plant analogy, we have here pages of Robert Plant (http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=5997) and Page - Plant (http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=6012). So having separate Satwa to Lula Côrtes entries would not be unusual.
The second option needs a lot of communication with different genre teams, it's not always fast.

If you're brave enough Smile go any chosen way.

I find it strange... :/

Ok, I've been thinking and the logic solution is this (I guess):

- change the name from Satwa to "Lula Cortês & Lailson" (does not need, therefore to change the style)
- I'll suggest for Prog Folk Paebiru under the name "Zeca Ramalho & Lula Cortês".

This goes along with the tradition of albums made in collaboration and we can think in the future to add the solo careers of this artists.

Agreed, folks?
