I saw Laurie Anderson waaaay back in the 80s when I lived in NYC......this is when she was doing the United States stuff, which included her big seller in the US - Big Science.  I was just a teenager and didn't get (or really like) what she was up to.....I went 'cause my older brother and his friends went and tickets were still just a few bucks (aaah, remember the day?  Great shows for less than a Big Mac dinner.....used to go to a show a week during summer vacation).  I've since opened my eyes and really like that United States stuff, but I haven't really followed her career.  The tape bow violin sound is pure Laurie.....is she included on PA?  Is her late husband and his old band here?

I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....
