It may seem weird to bring up a singer who was previously a member of the Christian alternative act DC Talk, but Kevin Max moved in a way different and more experimental direction than his bandmates. Multiple albums of his have been labelled as progressive rock, and his most acclaimed album Stereotype Be encompasses multiple genres including progressive rock, alternative rock, psychedelic, and Middle Eastern world music. In fact, that very album also has King Crimson's Tony Levin and Adrian Belew as the record's bassist and guitarist! Anyway, while Kevin Max isn't a full-fledged prog artist, I do think the prog-related tag would suit him well.

Here are some clips of his work:

And finally, here's his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/kevinmax?fref=ts

Anyway, I hope you guys consider Kevin Max for the prog-related section of the site. He's quite an interesting artist, considering he originally came from Christian Contemporary Music.

Prog related is only for artists who, in some way, have influenced, inspired or left their mark on prog - meaning small potatoe obscure artists have no chance of getting in.
In addition to that; it's only collaborators who can suggest bands for prog related. Just a FYI
