Are there any albums that are not reviewed in PA yet that really need to be?

Define "should be".

Also, there's already a thread dedicated to the premise. The page linked in Bob's (Easy Livin) OP should have the list you are looking for.

That's a long list that you linked to and many of them aren't albums, but singles and ep's.........or are they?
Confused

Yeah, I think it should be changed to "Un-reviewed releases list" to be more accurate.

Yeah, ... well, sorry; I don't know a link to a list of unreviewed albums exclusively. You'll just have to poke around and pick the next album you want to write a review for.

I had the same complaint a couple of years ago ... what is the point of reviewing the same album, that is now re-released with another, by a different someone ripping off the band, more often than not.  I gave up, as PA would not clean up its review list, and instead was flooding it with crap and duplicates, specially when it's singles and EP's, which are not always different.

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

Same complaint? Seems to me you have a different complaint. No one else was complaining about re-releases.

That is re-released with another? Another what? Another album? Wouldn't that make it a compilation/box set? Is that wrong?

Define crap and duplicates, and please give examples.

PA doesn't allow an album to be listed more than once. No simple re-releases or re-mastered editions should be added. Only re-recordings and deluxe editions (with a lot of added bonus material) are allowed per PA policy (some of them I don't necessarily agree with myself, I don't think all those listings are needed, but that's how the site owner wants it, so I don't let it bother me, and move on).

And singles and EP's are more the artist fault than PA's, is it not? We don't control what the artists releases, believe it or not. LOL

PA could of course not include singles and EP's in the discographies, but, again, that's up to the site owner, and he wishes to have artist's full discography listed. If it bothers you that much, just don't scroll down to the singles and EP's, or, if you wish to read the ten latest reviews of an artist's releases, just close your eyes for two seconds while scrolling past it, pretend it isn't there. Wink

Many prog folk bands have been added, and while the prog folk team likes to try to to review them, there are just too many!  So click on the prog folk sub genre on the main page and scroll down.  You will see all the artists.  Is there an obscure group you would like to share your knowledge of, or maybe a group you would like to listen to for the first time based on the bio?  Thanks for the help!  Tongue
