Definitely Lonesome Crowded West, with its diverse stylings.

The two very best Pavement albums, Slanted and Enchanted and Wowee Zowee, on the other hand, stand a much better chance against the great Mouse albums.

I've never been able to fully get into Pavement for some reason.

But that MM album... wowzer. You can't turn away from it after hearing that massive opener.
