Are there any other prog fans who have any love for this wonderful Latin/Arabic world guitar duet?

Some of my favourites of theirs include:

Quetzal

Canto Al Sol

El Jaguar

I was a fan briefly.   Still am, though I began to find the albums a bit monotonous for me.   Great duo, though, and I would recommend them to anyone interested in acoustic guitar music.

Yeah, I can see what you mean with the monotonous bit. Their later albums like Americas, Primal Magic and Heat of The Sun tend to reuse a lot of the same riffs, melodies and bridges. Still great music, just maybe not to listen to too often. That's why I'm getting a lot more into their second album Frontera lately; a lot more variety due to the stronger Eastern influence from Farah.

I preferred Jorge Strunz when he was guitarist with Caldera (incredible fusion) not on PA Ouch
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.
