Hello!

I'm Wet Rabbit.

I've just released my debut album 'Of Clocks and Clouds'. It's a serious concept album. The concept builds on Karl Popper's essay with the same title, and it is centered around the philosophical problem of 'Open Thinking vs Closed Thinking'.

I call my music 'electronic progressive rock' but you can judge the genre yourself. I

And here is the video for my first single Kill The Robots, Pt.5. It's called 'part 5', because it's the 5th part of a 29 min 6 part composition called 'Kill The Robots'.

Not Prog Electronic as defined by Progarchives, but definitely prog, so I think we need to try to accommodate you somewhere on the site. After a very brief first listen I would say this will most likely be a case for the Crossover team. I'm 99.9999% sure that The Prog Electronic boys won't want to evaluate this music, but we can wait for one of them to comment if you like. Eventually it might be worth changing the topic title to say 'Crossover Prog' rather than 'Electronic Prog Rock' - one of the Crossover team members will then be much more likely to spot it, and take the suggestion forward. Over 70 minutes of music, and I really liked what I heard of it so far. Will definitely check the whole thing out in more detail later when I get back from the supermarket. Thumbs Up

Edit: The voting for the teams who are most likely to be involved in the evaluation will be collated on a site called progfreak.com, so I added you to the site in readiness: http://progfreak.com/Wet-Rabbit-165416.html.

A 'PA' tab will appear alongside the existing 'Overview' and 'Discography' tabs when the evaluation gets under way - if you click this tab you will be able to follow its progress. Smile

Thanks. I've renamed the topic to Crossover Prog Rock whatever that means.

I agree with David. I think "Crossover Prog" is better for your music than "Progressive Electronic". I don't write my opinion about your music in this section and I prefer to know team's members comments and opinions first but I think you deserve to be in PA.

I personally could see it in PE, but Crossover seems more likely to add it.
I rather liked it, by the way.  Nice electronics, and some good bluesy guitar (and some Frippian guitar on the last track).  Also reminds be a bit of Polish band Tune.

I don't see a 'PA' tab yet... I guess this means my music is not being evaluated. Am I correct? I am asking about this because I'm unfamiliar with the evaluation process.

I dropped a link to this thread in the Crossover team's thread.  They have now been formally made of your request.

I hope that's not your best chat up line.

Good name for a band though.

Is there anything that's required? It seems to me that the process is stuck somewhere. I've read the sticky post about biography requirement but I'm not sure if I'm already able to write that before I'm approved.

^It's probably 'under review', which may take a while, as there are many artists who want to be added here.

Sorry, Zoltan.
Your band was cleared for addition 3 days ago.
We are somewhat backed up with additions.
If you can post a biography and a photo here, I can expedite the process.
