I've been wanting to suggest Transister for ages and couldn't find the right time, well now here it is.
I'm opening this thread here so everyone can see it but I'll also swing it by the Crossover team right away. Transister is a dutch band led by Supersister's keyboard player Robert Jan Stips, they've released only one album in 79' titled Zig Zag. The music is nothing like Supersister except for the humor which is evident throughout the album. The songs are relatively short and although they offer catchy vocals the music is tight, sophisticated and complex reminds me of 10cc at times, there's also a huge Zappa influence here, just check out the awesome 9 minute track which is the best Zappa song that Frank never wrote. Anyway it might be a tough case because they don't sound exactly like most of the Crossover bands but still I feel the team should take a look at this first, it definitely deserves to be on this site. I couldn't find the whole album streaming anywhere, but I've managed to assemble all the tracks from the album. Edited by Sagichim - February 08 2016 at 00:55 |

Your links go a page where all of the download links go to a junk site.
I found this single Youtube: Snippets here: Is this the same band?

Damn it! When I posted this, the songs would stream immediately without having to download them, but now it doesn't work anymore.
I found a different site where the songs are streaming, hope it works well now.
