Hi! My name is Jordan. I was born in 1989 and I'm italian. I followed this awesome website for many years and now I decided to subscribe. Well, I started to listen to music when I was child but wasn't Progressive Rock, but '80s and '90s dance music. After many years I left dance music for punk rock and alternative rock. One day I saw the light and I discovered that Queen wasn't a band born in '80s but in '70!!! After listening the first albums I've read that their masterpiece like "Bohemian Rhapsody" was influenced by Progressive Rock and Steve Howe played the flamenco guitar in "Innuendo". So, after few days I listened at the radio "Owner Of A Lonely Heart"... WOW!!! However, my real Prog experience started when I listened "Fragile", "Close To The Edge", "The Yes Album", "Tales From Topographic Oceans" and "Relayer". Over 10 years has passed and now I have all Queen and Yes 33" vinyls discography, I started to play bass (may God bless Chris Squire) and discovered tons of Prog bands: King Crimson, ELP (R.I.P. dear Keith), Uriah Heep, Gentle Giant, Pink Floyd and other Prog Rock bands from Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Argentina, ecc. And the album covers? Roger Dean is fantastic, I love all his works, and Hans Ruedi Giger with "Brain Salad Surgery" was brilliant! In these last years I appreciate the works of Jef Bertels with the Ayreon album covers. Thanks to Queen and Progressive Rock now I love art, music and I become addicted of Classical music. Before my brain was chaotic but now, thanks to the Prog Rock, is reordered like a solved Rubik's Cube. XD
