"Funny Ways" is a great song, but "Take a Pebble" is one of prog's finest moments in terms of vocal performance - and the instrumental middle section is none too shabby either.

I never really understood the hoopla over "funny ways." It's good but they used to play it a lot live when they could have mixed it up and played other stuff. I'll  never get why it was such a GG staple at live shows. Take a pebble on the other hand is just epic(at least to me).

Take A Pebble.....no contest for me.....GG's track is nice (and the first 3 or 4 albums from them are still my favorites by them...) , but ELP's first album is one of the finest prog albums ever done imho....and as Raff pointed out one of the finest prog vocals on record.
One does nothing yet nothing is left undone.

^ I agree. I probably like it better than "Court" plus it's my favorite ELP and in my top ten album list.
