Voted for the King. Elvis is bigger (in every sense of the word), but Roy is great in his own way.

Went with Roy.........always thought Elvis was very overrated.

I mentioned in another thread that I was conceived to a Roy Orbison album, so much as I love the King I gotta go with the Big O.

Roy.  Not as charismatic, but by and large he wrote his own stuff, and that's gotta count for something.

I voted for Elvis simply because he had one of the most incredible singing voices in the history of recorded music. No matter what style he was singing or what song he was singing his voice always seemed to be perfect.

Not a fan of either, but I prefer Elvis. Actually, I'd rather watch the movies he starred in, like Blue Hawaii.

Elvis had more songs I'd actually listen to. Never cared for Roy.

Blue Hawaii was a good one and I also liked G.I. Blues.

I like both to a certain extent, but Roy brings back great childhood memories. My mother used to play a vinyl compilation of his. She loves his voice and it has since then grown immensely on me. Bittersweet almost tormented in it's expression yet goes down smoothly like a glass of cream.

Elvis and his band for the 50s recordings; Roy for being a great voice and some fine tunes. Elvis gets the nod today just for Scotty Moore.

Voted Roy, love his voice and he never embarrassed himself late in his career like Elvis in his awful 70's comeback attempt.  Never an Elvis fan really, though I'll admit that famous early TV performance of Hound Dog where they played it super-super slow was pretty cool.  Elvis died on my 17th bday so I guess he get's a couple points for that LOL

Big O I'd almost say definitely. Elvis might have my favourite song out of the two though
