From my son, who finally has gone off to college (Rutgers University) and taken all of his Metallica stuff with him. I found this site by accident doing a Google search for my all time favorite - Gentle Giant.

Been listening and playing prog (guitarist) for over 30 years now. Still have and listen to all of my old Gentle Giant, Genesis, Captain Beyond, Atomic Rooster, Happy the Man, Tull, Floyd, ELP and many other albums of that era.

Presently exploring all of Porcupine Tree's albums. Mr. Wilson is a genius in my book. Looking forward to exploring this site in the future and finding new music that I am extremely out of touch with at the present. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and will be followed up on.

Welcome to the forum Big Fish.I am also going through a very heavy Steven Wilson period right now.If you like SW and Porcupine Tree check out a few other projects of his like Blackfield and No-Man.
