INXS is more sensual, if you know what i mean, they have a silky feel and smoothness, like a steamy brown steam punk movie

Crowded House created imo one of the best arena rock sounding songs, one of the best arena rock bands imo, saw a concert on TV, great songs that makes your hair stand.

Voted Crowded House - never was into  Inxs

my choice would be Split Enz out of those two....... a better band than Crowded House ever was.

Listen to "Message to my girl" - you can hear Crowded House was just Neil's extension of his Split Enz material

Crowded House by a long-shot. Never got into INXS. Hutchence had his hand on his crotch too much.....
Then of course, Split Enz trumps all, and even Schnell Fenster more interesting than Crowded House. And for the curious, some tasty Mellotron on several Crowded H songs.

I voted INXS, Crowded House for me was too poppy sounding, they do have some catchy stuff.

Always found INXS mediocre. Crowded House on a higher level of songwriting for me.

Dunno why Paul went and did what he did. Big shock, that was.
