I voted for Catherine Ribiero, love her, and I wish I'd mentioned her in my first post in your other thread, but if you were going for "popular demand" based on comments in the other thread, then why did you not include all the names that were mentioned? That's what I would have done -- that way no one feels left out.
I was expecting to see Pascale Son here even though I said she may not have been a Prog goddess, but she was the queen of Cos.

I voted for Renate, but I miss Inga on the list.
... welcome magick brothers and mystic sisters ...
Gilly in "Floating Anarchy". Even then, this was more about the Goddess for Gilly, than it was for anyone else in music. Renate, by comparison, is more of a renegade and fighter for something ... that might or might not be clear. I always thought that AD2 made a bit of fun of her, I bet she loved it, in the "HIJACK" album with that one marching piece and the guitar gives it the ______ (not saying it!) ... but while funny in the AD2 style, it was also not very funny at all.
I had a few talks with Gilly about this, and she was much more "liberated" and involved with the "goddess" inner thing, a lot, and she continually used it in her albums, from the very first one, to the robot thing which was insane, and sad, but so true, to the best of these albums in Goddess T. I did not find anything in her that was not true and "pure" in the sense that it was meaningful, and well defined inside. Remember that both her and Daevid, did a lot of meditation work and other "deep" work ... and used a lot of that knowledge in their work, and I'm not sure that there are many other women out there like that.
I like to say that Gilly was a true/pure woman to the last breadth ... not an inch of idealism in there ... just quality beauty all around ... and I think this built Daevid and Harry Williamson, a lot more than we know and could possibly understand.
I always thought it was a crime how underused Renate was in ADII... at least she really got a chance to shine with Florian and Popul Vuh.

I wish I could have voted for Catherine but Dagmar has to be the one given her extensive history with some of the most important and influential bands in music. I do adore Kate, but I think she had only 1 album that was really prog, The Dreaming which is still my favorite of hers.

I love what Gilli & Dagmar bring to the table, but Kate was the whole package (songwriter/lyricist/musician/producer/choreographer/etc) so gets the well deserved vote

Those choices are good.. My FAVORITES are..
AND...
I think Gal Costa is as progressive as Kate Bush.. Which is not much. But I still love her. Also has one of the most ahhem.. provocative covers in music.
