I generally like Metallica (their early stuff) better than AC/DC, but can't stand the so-called "Black Album" - a monument to boredom if there ever was one. Therefore, AC/DC's first album with Brian Johnson gets my vote.

I prefer Metallica's. The deeper cuts on that album are great.
