A great jazz singer who turned pop but never stopped being one of the best scatters around.   Sorry to see his gentle soul gone.

RIP
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

At a local hi-fi store, Al Jarreau was live and sublime on laser disc, the very first time I ever heard digital technology.   I was immediately hooked.  Now I'm sad.

RIP Mr. Jarreau
