Of course there are lost of other witch songs. I like Gong's Witches Song..., I like Vanilla Fudge's version of Season of the Witch (got sick of the Donovan), and Suck's version of that is good, and The Rattles The Witch (not to be confused with The Rutles). Then there's Jethro Tull's Witches Promise. And there's Kate Bush's Waking the Witch and the Eagles Witchy Woman I expect that most of us know, The Witch Doctor, Moving Sidewalks' Crimson Witch, Rush's Witchhunt etc. Edited by Logan - April 07 2017 at 13:52 |

Just a little bump as I'm sure that there would be some people here who would enjoy The Witch. I thought this would be pretty good comparison, not just because of similarities in song name but because of the stop-motion qualities of the videos. I gotta love The Wicker Man-ish Radiohead music video.

If you're into stop motion and witches, you might also like the Soviet movie Viy.

While I do love stop-motion and many witchy tales, my intenet was more a way to try to expose more people to The Witch. That said, I have heard of Viy and being a cinema-buff, I will plan to watch it anon. Internationally, it's the Soviet union's most famous horror film methinks.
As for more pure animated stop-motion films, rather than as an effect in different live-action films, my favourites tend to be short films. Here are to of my favourites: For the Love of God: https://vimeo.com/25516414 Which utilises the voice-talents of Steve Coogan and Ian McKellen, and some will find offensive. I shared this before and one person was so disgusted and appalled. And the quite gross Bobby Yeah For a musical in part stop-motion short that I love and my kids exposed me to (that head at the end reminds me of Zardoz): |
