Anyone else have instrumental bits stuck in head?

Has anyone else experienced instrumental song snippets stuck in their head without being able to recall where they are from? The annoying thing is that there's no lyrics to look up and it's easy to forget the unidentified snippet while listening to music in order to recall it, until it pops in back my head after a few hours or even days.

In the past few months, I've had instances where the following instrumental sections have eluded me:
Änglagård - Kung Bore guitar solo 7:23-7:45
Uriah Heep - Been Away Too Long refrain riff 0:34-0:49
Boston - Foreplay/Long Time organ/guitar riff 0:29-0:53
Eloy - Poseidon's Creation synth solo 3:28-3:51 and synth melody 7:39-8:24
Genesis - The Knife guitar solo 5:30-5:53

I just spent about a year pondering a brief section of Harmonium's Histoire Sans Parole, yet I was unable to identify it until last week, when I had the album playing during a barbecue. I mainly remembered the section because it felt vaguely reminiscent of a melody from Godspeed You! Black Emperor's East Hastings. 

Quite often it's the instrumental sections that I remember better than the main song, lol

Yep, this happens to me all the time. I can't think of any examples that stick around for more than a day or two at a time, but I pretty much always have some sort of instrumental section floating around in my skull.

I guess this is more common than I anticipated. I once used my phone to record myself humming the tune so I wouldn't forget it. Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences!
