Hey all,

I recently found 2 songs I really like, both prog rock/metal with orchestra.

- Earthside with Mob Mentality (youtube)
- Virtual symmetry with Message from Eternity (youtube)

I wonder of course if there exist similar bands I've missed. Some vague guidelines:

- longer then 5 minutes
- has a real orchestra in the recording
- modern (released after 2000)

Feel free to also post suggestions that don't fit the guidelines.
Thanks!

^He's asking for modern prog released after 2000;)

Here are three that I remember (Alchemy may or may not feature a full orchestra...but it sounds like it. Kinda like Broadway prog)
Motorpsycho & Ståle Storløkke - The Death Defyin Unicorn + En Konsert For Folk Flest
Clive Nolan - Alchemy

Rick Wakeman has re-recorded the Myths and Legends album, as well as Journey to the Centre of the Earth this decade, with a few new songs, so that might half count.

That's the one I have been able to get on it's re-recorded version, I still need to get the Arthur one, since on the originals I prefered that one. Also, mostly I like Journey better on it's original 70's version... the new one sounds kind of more tamed... more focused on the orchestra and less on the keyboards. But the new one does sound more professional, though, and better recorded.
