Tangerine Dream didn't score John Carpenter's The Thing. That was Ennio Morricone.

TD didn't do any music for Moonlighting, either.

One song it looks like, in one episode according to IMDB.
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

They borrowed "Guido the Killer Pimp" from TD's Risky Business score. There are many instances of TD's music showing up in such a manner. The trailer for Walter Hill's 1979 cult classic The Warriors used "Betrayal" from TD's Sorcerer score. (The movie itself was scored by Barry De Vorzon, and it's an awesome score.) "Betrayal" also surfaced in the Warriors video game.
