It's not the most prog song on the album (although, the main riff is in 15), but I've got a soft spot for The Ocean.

I really like all the song on this album, but D`yer Ma`er has always been a little cheesy to me. But listen it also always. This is my first Zep-album, I remember when borrowed it from a friend and at first we wondered whose band album it is, then my brother said "Jimmy Page & Robert Plant are in Led Zeppelin". I think I was then about 8 or 9-years old.

Wow, I find it super surprising that No Quarter is most people's favorite.
Always been my favorite Zeppelin album, and the only one I own as well.
Gotta listen to it again!! Probably the Rain Song for me

Rain Song. Brilliant song.
Closely followed by No Quarter, although the version on The Song Remains the Same is better, especially the version on the film, on which IIRC, the instrmental section is slightly different. Love the visuals that go with it too.

The Ocean for me today, but it could just as easily have been either No Quarter or The Rain Song. Great album.

The Rain Song, but the version on TSRTS is much better.

Vikings often favour the ocean.

When I was younger I probably would have said "over the hills..." or "no quarter" but as an adult I really like the mellotron on the "rain song" and think it makes the perfect song for a rainy day.

I didn't really start adding much Zep to my collection until 2000 because they were so prevalent. This album is one of them and as it's a 1972 album and I am chronologically working my way through my collection and the year is 1986, I'm going off the top of my head with The Rain Song.
