Hi and welcome! Judging by your name prog metal is your favourite genre. Definitely not my favorite one, though I am very much into Hard Rock that is not prog at all and Heavy Prog and know many really obscure bands there. I am also very much into Krautrock, Psychedelic/Space Rock, Rio/Avant, Zeuhl, Canterbury, Jazz-Rock/Fusion, Progressive Electronic, Eclectic Prog, Prog-Related and Symphonic Prog.

My favourite era of Rock Music are the late 60s and early 70s, and my wife and I (see picture below) have some really obscure albums from that time.
