This band from New York released one album in 2014.
It seems to me that it is a very advanced combination of jazz and metal, that's why it's worth attention from a progressive point of view :) Additionally, the album contains seriously sounding keys, broken riffs, saxophone, very intense percussion and great melodies. I sincerely recommend it! :) Band page: https://stimpylockjaw.bandcamp.com/album/stimpy-lockjaw https://www.facebook.com/stimpylockjaw https://www.discogs.com/artist/4907563-Stimpy-Lockjaw Full self-titled album officially available: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VwPEzYdu7o Kevin Theodore - Piano & Rhodes https://www.facebook.com/ktheo86 Nicholas Llerandi - Guitars https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nG53Y... https://soundcloud.com/nicholasllerandi Zachary Marks - Drums & Percussion https://www.facebook.com/zach.fraiche http://instagram.com/zachmarksdrums Steve Jenkins - Bass http://www.stevejenkinsbass.com/ Special Guests: Cara Minichiello - Lyrics + Vocals https://soundcloud.com/caraevemusic Colin Gordon - Alto Saxophone http://colingordonmusic.com/ Stimpy Lockjaw was recorded at Flux Studios in NYC by Daniel Sanint. I will let the Jazz fusion team check on this first if they think it doesn't worth evaluation on their team, we will take this to the pm team (border case)

Personally I don't think it's too heavy for us but we'll see where they end up. Gonna send it to JR/F first.
