There have been polls about prog live albums, but here´s a poll of non-prog, classic 60/70ties live albums. Didn´t put Purple´s Made In Japan here, because it was in prog live album poll and also seemed to have a lot favour. Which is your favourite of these? I love all of these, but I choose Band Of Gypsys. You can vote although not heard all.

Allman Brothers Band

Lots of good ones here. I went with The Allman Brothers. The Last Waltz would probably be my second choice.

Just got home from a road trip and played Allman Bros in the car.......one of my favorites.
But I also like...The Who, Stones, Derek and Dominoes, Little Feat, Zep, Airplane.....

The Airplane, The Dead and The Doors.
And I much prefer Chicago live in Japan to Carnegie Hall.

What a fine selection! Probably have to go with the Allman Brothers Band - a live record I've played to death in the past. The energy of the Who's Live at Leeds impresses too.

The flawed gem here is Free Live! Definitive versions of many songs, including Mr Big (the ultimate bass solo), The Hunter etc. If only they had gone for the alternative version of Alright Now on the remastered/extended reissues rather than the one they originally used - where Kossoff had cut-out issues on the amplifier and Kirke used a different drum roll at times on the chorus.

Humble Pie's Performance: Rocking the Fillmore is a notable absentee in this list. Highly recommended if you've never heard it. As Marriott said to the audience "It's been a gas!"
