Welcome, it's nice to meet someone from the home of the Bard (Billy Bragg, that is).
I'm from Hornchurch meself and I often visit Barking. You might see me feeding the squirrels in the park with my kids. What sort of music are you into?

Hi Chopper,
Yeah I visited and passed through Hornchurch many a time.
Often shop in Romford which is sort of in between us I guess...
As far as musical tastes go I'm quite an "inclusive" listener and
there's not much Prog or otherwise I really dislike but I know people
like lists so here goes.. I'll list some of the bands on this site that
are currently on my MP3 player. In no particular order.
Yes, Genesis, Rush, King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Jethro Tull, Pink
Floyd, ELP, Camel, Nektar, The Enid, Zappa, Beefheart, Hawkwind,
Marillion, Can, Neu!, Soft Machine, Mogwai, Sigur Ros, Kraftwerk,
Tangerine Dream, GONG, Caravan, Brand X, Mahavishnu Orchestra loads of
other Fusion stuff.
Also not on here a lot of Punk, Industrial, Eletronic, Folk, Metal, Classical, Jazz, Blues, Ambient, etc...
Current Favorite album would be
Sigur Ros - TAAK also
Jaga Jazzist's - What we want is worth a mention
Bet you wished you never asked...
Regards
Vince A.

Excellent taste in music. I don't suppose you play the guitar as well?

Hi again chopper,
Unfortunately my guitar playing is very crap...
I also play the keyboards and I use the word play in the very loosest sense.
In fact probably worse than my guitar playing... :)
I know a few chords and scales and thats it...

Shame, we could have started Barking's first prog band.
