Just curious what sense PA people could not live without. I would rather lose all senses than not hear the sound of good music. How about you?

Did not think sight would be the most important with prog fans. Never hear music again?

Losing my hearing would absolutely suck but losing my sight would handicap me more so I went with that. It's a choice I really wouldn't want to make in any case.

This is a music forum, how can hearing not win this?

By the way, I went to a school with blind kids integrated. They were all happy to be blind not deaf, and they all said they'd choose hearing over eyesight any time again. They were also generally well adapted to life. I didn't have this conversation with deaf people though. I should maybe also add that I've seen people getting blind being quite depressed about it, whereas those who were born blind were generally fine.

I'd think losing your sense of touch would be the most upsetting, literally not feeling your surroundings and your own body seems very scary, more so than being blind or deaf.

I like LAM-SGC's answer.  But probably the worst sense to lose would be the one you wisely put on the end.  Most of us do have a sixth sense, I believe, we just usually shut it out.  This would be, for me, the several times in my life I have seen people across a room and knew I would know them, or had a sense that I'd already known them.  Every time, they have been very important people to me.  One time, notably, it was a girl I saw in 1st grade and I walked up to her and insisted we'd met before.  We became best friends for those years.  Sometimes I wish I'd listened even harder to it to have had those people more closely even sooner in my life than when it happened.

I think my life wouldn't be THAT much different without the sense of taste. I can do without some pleasure together with being careul about not eating spoiled food etc.

The rest seem equally important.

As much as I like listening to music, I am a much bigger fan of seeing stuff.

To be honest, I doubt I have the strength of character to survive without any of them.
