I'm a big fan of Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Queensr˙che & (almost forgot) Tool (I've seen all of them live -minus Fates Warning).

I have some Prog-Metal cds like Cynic (don't like the cookie-monster vocals though/transformer vocals was cool), O.S.I., & Spiral Architect

I enjoy Prog-Metal more than any other from of Prog but don't really like many other bands people say are in the genre as many are Power metal that are at most semi-prog.

I've heard some tracks by Algoria and I like them so far.

Any suggestions on other Prog-Metal bands I'd like?

Atheist - I've heard some of it, good stuff overall but the Cookie Monster Vox get to me

Death - I like what I've heard of them so far, everyone suggests Individual Thought Patterns which I'll probably get soon

Gorguts (this one's extreme, though) - Too Cookie Monster for me

Behold...the Arctopus- I'll check them out

Spastic Ink- I'll check them out

Thanks

^^^^^^

As far as Death goes I recommend Human or The Sound of Perseverance

Also check out Edge of Sanity and Opeth.

And of course TOOL

Gorguts (this one's extreme, though) - I'll check them out Growling alert

You may also consider The Dillinger Escape Plan (if you don't know them already), Into the Moat, Martyr, Pan-Thy-Monium, Terminally Your Aborted Ghost, Necrophagist and Capharnaum (though all these bands feature groling/screaming)

Pain of Salvation - OK, not really complex instrumentally, but if you don't mind beautiful mellodic songs w/ a vocalist who is breathtaking, then this is it! Add to it extraordinary conceptual lyrics and there you go. It's not like anything I heard out there (correct me if not).
