I was wondering if someone could help me out.
I was a big prog rock fan from the 70's-Crimson,
Genesis. ELP,Yes, Strawbs etc. I've been trying to find
out a group I used to listen to. All I remember is
the singer had a really high voice-very distinct,
(not Jon Anderson). I recall only having one album....
The first song was very fast. I know thats not much
help but I would appreciate any imput. Did Eno
sing with diff. bands. Could it have been him?
Anyhow.....thanx in advance!

Maybe it's Pavlov's Dog'

Their first two albums Pampered Menial or At the Sound of the Bell mostly fall into the frames you gave us:

  1. David Surkamp has a very high and ultra distinctive range of voice
  2. Released in 74 and 76
  3. Both albums have some fast tracks, but not sure if the first one.

The other chance is almost any early album by Rush, but I'm sure you would remember them clearly.
