Would have been much easier if you included Quadrophenia by The Who, or Their Satanic Majesties Request by Rolling Stones, because I would have voted blindly for any of those, but honestly, none of this albums is so, so strong IMO.

Lets see:

  • Wacko Jacko and the Punks are out of contest IMO
  • Hendrix is not my cup of tea (Even when he was a great guitar player)
  • I believe Sgt Peppers is highly overrated (Abbey Road could get my vote)
  • Don't care for any Stones album except the one menioned previously
  • Dylan  and Beach Boys maybe........
  • Maiden (Give me Seventh Son of a Seventh Son)
  • AC/DC: Better with Bon Scott

So it's Tommy, closely followed by Joshua's Tree, Machine Head and Zep IV.

Iván

Led Zeppelin and their 'IV' is a true classic.
Take 'Stairway to Heaven', it's ingenious and unforgettable chord progression with the most famous guitar solo of all time.
'Battle of Evermore' - the mandolin masterpiece

The rest of the stuff on the list is either trash or it just goes by me.
