I am a fan of good music which means for me anything from poprock over prog to Metal.

My fave bands are: Elbow, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, New Model Army, Tesla, Yes, RPWL, Depressive Age, Rush....(might add more that don't come to my mind at the moment)

And I hate stereotyping like "all Rap, EMO, Britpop, Metal...(addwhatever)...is crap..."

I'm a bassplayer and singer in a partyrockband but dream sometimes of a hobbyband which plays easier progoriented tracks...

I try to learn the violin, but by now it's not really listenable

I will learn piano next year. Started this year, but I had to stop it because I have to fight against a bad disease monster at the moment. But I have almost made it...

I can hear not only stereo but also vertical along my ears... noted it first while listening to the Elbow-Mix from Peter Gabriel's "More than this"

I like Cats, Bats, Mantarays and Owls.

And btw...even if I sound like a kid sometimes. I am 37.

Welcome Tamedlamia,

I certainly find it difficult to play bass and sing at the same time ... good for you!

Wish you luck with the disease ...

Hope you have a fun time here ... there's lots to discover ... I notice no Italian prog or Quebec prog bands in your list ... those are my two main discoveries since I came here ... check those scenes out if you haven't already!

"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.”

"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."

Italian? Then I should mention "THE WATCH"

Seen them live two times, first time on a festival (unfortunately as opening act, they can do much better than they could do there...) and the second time on the Genesis-Fan-Party.

Now I hope I'll see them on a real big concert, where they can use all the effects they normally do.

French Canada...The Musical Box. They are "only"  a Genesis-Coverband but a real good one. I just wish Denis Gagne would sound more like the Gabe... But he tries his best
