Clean shaven, the only time I tried to grow a beard I ended up looking
like Captain Birds Eye (the old boy). Sadly as the years go by I find I
have to pay more attention to clipping the old eyebrows, nasal
passages, and the odd tuft in the ears!!

The US Army has a strict policy on facial hair. Sideburns cannot extend below the bottom of the inner ear opening, cannot present a flared apperance, must be cut straight on the bottom & must be consistent with the length of the hair on the side of your head.
Mustaches must not extend past the lips (side-to-side) and cannot extend over the upper lip.
Since I retired in 2000, I have grown a very un-regulation Fu-Man-Chu mustache.
My wife hates it, but I grew it for me, not for her.

I might shave once a week.If that.

I can't really grow my hair out good. So I'm clean shaven, I don't mind though, I'd probably look funny.
