Anybody here knows this band???

Clear Blue Sky was a power progressive rock trio of young men that in 1970 released their self-titled debut album, with the cover art by Roger Dean. Their music is centralized on the John Simms's powerful guitar sound: the first part of the album is occupied by the suite "Journey To The Inside Of the Sun" which is divided in three parts. The album has been reprinted by Repertoire Records in 1990.

Nice to see Clear Blue Sky here, this is a great album. I think this one can be classified as proto-prog metal. The suite is fantastic, but the other tracks are a bit weaker (although still interesting). Maybe it's because they were so young at the time of this album (all the three boys were 18).
