seriously, screw Dave Matthews.
they actually wouldnt be a bad band, except for their fans consist of every stupid-ass-pink-polo-shirt-with-the-collar-popped-wearing-BM W-driving-lacrosse-playing frat boy in America. he's really not all that damn good.
and I hate fratboys.

I like DMB alot. Dave seems to be a pretty humble guy and interested in music, unlike alot of his contemporaries.I dont know about his fans, but Ive got a few of his CD's which are very good. Good songs, good musicians; what more do you want?

Frankly, I've never understood the fuss over U2. Other the The Joshua Tree, I just don't see anything all that great about them.

Yes I loved the Joshua Tree - even went to see them tour
then - but since then the music has been nothing special (with the odd
exception) and worthy though the causes are, I tire a little of Bono
hob-nobbing with the politicians...

And who the hell is Dave Mathews? |
WOW.
Can't recall hearing of someone in this day and age who hasn't heard of The Dave Mathews Band. They play him to death here in the States.
|
Never heard of him myself either. | Dave Matthews Band is one of those bands who are huge in the States, but hardly anyone listens to in Europe. I've heard a couple of his albums, and I wouldn't say it's bad, it's just terribly bland imo. As for the vote.. U2, closely followed by Coldplay.

With magic, you can turn a frog into a prince. With science, you can turn a frog into a Ph.D. and you still have the frog you started with.

U2, don't like them and find their "rock" music boring.

Elton John
Put him in a room for 2 hours and he'll come up with a new album filled with his cheesy musical piano bits...ughh. It's a shame though because he has talent. Funeral for a friend is a good song.
After that Coldplay, the new girlies beloved band. Everyone who here who wants to be cool buys their album, can't understand why though. It's music I get bored of after 2-3 listens.
