I do have the most interesting radio experiences when I leave my CD's at home... a couple of months ago... the infamous Wakeman interview on the local rock station, after that I was so tramatized by the current state of rock radio that I figured I'd listen to NPR today.   Good move micky... I give you ...Mongolian prog (the samples they played were pretty damn good)

I actually agree with you that it sounds great. On top of that, the concept and ideas are great!

Mongolia rocks!

hahahha.... you hear some really good stuff on NPR... I heard Norah Jones on NPR before she was even a blip on the radar.. she did a live version of Cold Cold Heart.... and I was floored by that voice... got that first album the day it was released..

another one a bit further back.. Tania Maria from Brazil.. heard Bluesilian from the same titled album.. floored yet again... had to special order that one... still listen to that every once in awhile.

Damn Americans!( just kidding)

Do they look Mongoloid (Asiatic) to you? These are some musicians from some Arabic country(maybe North Africa).Maybe some ethno-proggers?

Mongols are more like Siberian and Inuit peoples(you know Indians From Alaska).

I have to hear that Mongolian prog!

Yeah, I know.  I may be American, but I'm not totally ignorant.   It's just that I've been dying for a chance to use that picture somewhere.

Maybe this is closer to accurate?
