I have been told this will be released in the US on July 11th. Hope it has a DTS layer.

It's gonna be sweet. This thing was delayed for so long because they wanted to give the picture and sound the best quality. Should be a treat.

Realeased Monday 10th July in UK.

I will only believe it wwhen I see it on the racks in the shop though.
This has been delayed for nearly 12 months!!!

In Belgium it has been released last week, so it is really coming your way comrads!!!! The puchasing wasn't expensive and it's been well worth the wait I can tell you !The quality of the image is top notch !!!!

Just purchased it.
Picture quality is good, but IMO it could be better.
Sound options: Stereo, Dolby Digital 5.1/448 kbps (standard), Dolby Digital 5.1/640 kbps. I have no idea whether my system supports the latter.
As you see, no DTS option.

Gilmour has apparently done all possible to improve, but in hindsight, he wishes it had been recorded on film, not video.

I bought it yesterday for 15.99US at Circuit City and it came with another DVD, Roger Waters' "The Wall " at no additional charge. What a deal!
I really enjoyed the DVD both sound and video.
