Of these three melodic/power metal bands, who do you like best?
I voted Sonata Arctica. They just seem to have a type of passion for their music. Winter Hearts Guild is a great album!

i agree .sonata arctica more passion that made the difference .oh and the last album is really good.tehy should be in PA. IMHO

I voted for Rhapsody. I agree that Silence and Winterheart's Guild are fantastic albums, but even with all their cheesiness I still really like the early Rhapsody albums ... Legendary Tales, Symphony I, Dawn of Victory.

Well, I choose Stratovarius. It's not cheesy at all (IMHO). I also like Sonata Arctica, but I do not like Rhapsody...

You can breathe easier, Sonata and Strato were both rejected, good bands though.
I voted for Sonata Arctica, solely because of Winterhearts Guild. All of their other albums are very very good, but Winterhearts Guild has a special style to it that just makes it a more intresting listen.
