Worth a shot?

For prog-metal obviously. Raymond Herrera is key to this band. His drumming is not only fast but VERY technical. The songs are very stop and go, especially the drumming, and there are clean vocals used as well as the "death grunt".

So, anyone think Fear Factory is proggy?

Hmm... no.
(for the record, I particularly like their first album and Obsolete as well).

Not prog, good band nonetheless (especially on "Demanufacture").

Definitely not prog, more of an industrial/death hybrid.
