Ah ... apparently they're on the PM chart already, under the name of "The Lord Weird Slough Feg" ... and they have been rejected. Listening to the myspace samples and the complete album Atavism I would say they're prog.Embarrassed Add to that the fact that the Hammers of Misfortune are here already ...

Musically I can hear early Scorpions in the first track. Surely this is just well-crafted metal with a few time changes?

Hiberno Latin Invasion.......ever heard Thin Lizzy, especially Black Rose and Emerald..?

Sky Chariots.....speeded up Gary Moore/Lizzy riffs...

Same again for Agony Slalom.

I'd always thought of them as a not-prog version of Hammers. That said, I haven't heard the new one.

I agree with Tony and Goose on this one.
I like the band (have 3 albums), and they are to me "plain" but good metal. A simpler. less complex version of HOM (which is close to being borderline as well, but still on the right side of the border to be, in my opinion, a progressive rock/metal band).

Still, it's much more complex than Iron Maiden ... Evil SmileWink

Now that I'm rating the album on a track by track basis: I admit that it's just prog related. Embarrassed

Great band - but are a metal band, not a prog one.
