These guys have to be on the Prog Archives. Danny Elfman is the lead singer and song writer for this band. They were new waves, but had a crapload of progressive elements in their music. They're stlye has progressed over the years. They went from a classical jazzy musical troupe, to a wacky expiermental new wave band, to grungous acid rock. They should AT LEAST be in PROG RELATED!
Their most progressive album, and quite possibly their best, was their last album simply titled, "Boingo". You can listen to songs of if this album in the link below. http://www.myspace.com/boingoinsanity94 Check 'em out and please add them to this site! Listen to these wacky songs, Nasty Habits, No Spill Blood, Cry Of The Vatos, Insanity, Hey!, Lost Like This, Spider, Helpless, and their most progressive song, a 16 minute acid bath called "Change". I like Elfman, especially his soundtrack work and Simpson's music. I've never been a big Oingo Boingo fan though, although they have some nice music. I don't think they would be prog, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I bought the Fable soundtrack just because Elfman wrote the main theme; he's my favorite movie composer. And, yes, that include Ennio Morricone.
Some of Water's vocal effects on the Wall remind me of Danny's, by the by...

They are prog related though. They wern't solid prog, but listen to the song Change. That song is extremely progressive. I know they're not really prog, most of their years they were New Wave, but I'm talking about the later years, they did progress in the later years.
