    Blackfield have announced dates in the USA starting in March:


10 Mar 2007 : Knitting Factory, LOS ANGELES
11 Mar 2007 : Great American Music Hall, SAN FRANCISCO
13 Mar 2007 : World Cafe Live, PHILADELPHIA
15 Mar 2007 : Ramshead, ANNAPOLIS, Maryland
16 Mar 2007 : Bowery Ballroom, NEW YORK
18 Mar 2007 : Berklee Recital Hall, BOSTON, MA


These will coincide with the release of their second album, cleverly named Blackfield II,which will be out in March on Atlantic US. Support TBC.

The album will be available from February in Europe with gigs starting the 16th Feb (listed on a previous thread:http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=32050)

Yeah right!

Do you have any idea how many hundreds of miles it is for me to drive to a coast? I live in the center of the US. It's a long way to MASS, or California.

Please...PLEASE.....PLEASE get together with Aviv and bring Blackfield to Scotland some time in 2007!! Preferably Glasgow, but Edinburgh would do.
 
I'm doubly pi**ed (UnhappyUnhappy) at the single UK date as it would've been terrific to see Pure Reason Revolution too (good to see their album making the Prog Archives Top 10 for '07). Guess I'll just have to be satisfied with PT in April.

The new Blackfield album is a triumph!

The first time I played it I thought..oh hum...but subsequent listens reveal a very mature work full of accomplished SONGS.

Order it now, you wont be disappointed...
