Sylvan release DVD concert recording

For their first LIVE DVD and CD production SYLVAN will perform their concept album 'Posthumous Silence' in full length during an elaborate stage show. This concert will take place in Hamburgs renown KAMPNAGEL theater the 1st of SEPTEMBER 2007. 

As SYLVAN normally do not have the chance to play in such big concert halls, this might be the only show of this size worthy for a concept album for a long time. Those of you who love this CD should be part of the evening! 

And furthermore, to please everyone, we can assure you that after 'Posthumous Silence' SYLVAN will play a couple of their best songs from the other CDs as well ... 

Tickets can be ordered through all major ticket vendors starting mid May.

	This is really superb news. Sylvan are rapidly becoming one of my favourite bands of late. All 6 albums are great. Presets has gone a little commercial to be honest, but is superb nonetheless, especially the opening track "One Step Beyond". It will be really good to have a dvd from these guys because the available footage on MySpace / YouTube etc is not too good; it does the lead singer no justice when in reality his voice is pretty darn good. Bring it on! Just a pity I can't make it to Germany to see the band live.

	Really looking forward to this one, too. This band is such an enigma to me. Every once in a while the vocals will sort of grate on me; but, then suddenly it can turn and I'm taken in by a beautiful melody, atmospheric production, or a great musical interlude. Currently I'm right in the middle of the epic title track from Encounters in the car's player. Just really great stuff. E
