 Some new Canterbury releases :

Le label Moonjune, à qui l'on doit déjà la publication de trois albums de SOFT MACHINE LEGACY, s'apprête à en sortir un quatrième, "Steam", comprenant des compositions et des improvisations enregistrées en décembre 2006 par le quartet Etheridge/Hopper/Marshall/Travis.

La sortie de cet album est prévue pour le 21 août prochain, date à laquelle paraîtront également:
un album de Hugh HOPPER, "Numéro d'vol" (avec entre autres Charles Hayward
),
le nouveau
DFA, "Kaleidoscope",
et un CD d'un groupe de jazz fusion indonésien, SimakDIALOG, "Patahan".

Avant cela, le 17 juillet, paraîtront toujours sur Moonjune les albums suivants:

"Conspiracy Theories" de Phil MILLER & IN CAHOOTS
"The Unbelievable Truth" d'Elton DEAN & THE WRONG OBJECT
"First Live in Japan" d'ARTI & MESTIERI

"Tipping Point" de Jason SMITH

L'été 2007 risque d'être canterburyen en diable!

I am definitely thinking of getting that The Wrong Object album, as well as the Phil Miller/In Cahoots release.

Is that a new Hopper release?  Wow, Hayward and Hopper together, that's great!

Just listened through The Wrong Object album samples, sounded great.

Amazing site, especially for the samples, extensive artist profiles. Will be browsing around here for some time tonight.

Adam, go to The Wrong Object's website, you can hear further samples there too, especially of their live material (including many jazz takes of Zappa tunes, such as King Kong).

Good to see Theo Travis recording with Soft Machine Legacy - he got some excellent reviews when he stood in for the late Elton Dean during the bands last London gigs.

Thanx Assaf,
I was just too lazy to translate it...Thumbs%20Up  I owe you a beer when we meet in Carmeaux next yearWink

for the last idiomatic phrase: "L'été 2007 risque d'être canterburyen en diable!"

...en diable means 'extremly' and could be used to emphatize so you could translate this phrase freely with:
'This will be one hell of a Canterburian summer !" to stay in the same mood.
